Twink: (noun) 1. According to Wikipedia, “a gay slang term describing a young or young-looking gay man (usually in his late teens or early twenties) with a slender build, little or no body hair, and no facial hair. 2. A porn term used to describe young gay males, who are hairless (aka “smooth), small build and are receptive. Etymology: There are many theorized origins of the word Twink: 1. “The term’s namesake is the “golden-colored phallic-shaped snack cake” Hostess Twinkie, commonly regarded as the quintessential junk food: “little nutritional value, sweet to the taste and creme-filled. (Wikipedia, 2009)” or 2. as the acronym Teenager, White, Not Into Kink. However, the latter does not sufficiently embody the current scope of the term.

Example: “Every guy at RUSH is a twink, total twink magnet.”

Gayelle: (noun) 1. an alternative word for lesbian, created out of a frustration by younger gay women who believed that the label was antiquated and had negative connotations. 2. The feminized version of the word gay.

The “T” : (noun) 1. A term used by the early gay community circa 1970-1989 that indicated someone was the “T”alk of the “T”own, hence the “T” (source: wiki). 2. The abbreviated version of the phrase “What’s The T,” which is used to describe a piece of information, such as current events or gossip.

Also: What’s The T ? , Tah Gaga.

Friend of Dorothy (colloquially known as FOD) : (adjective) 1. a camp terminology used to describe a gay male. Etymology: In the classic ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ The Lion states: “We’re friends of Dorothy”, using what can only be described as a campy tone. Additionally, the film, as well as Judy Garland, have become certifiable parts of GLBT iconography.

Example: “ He’s a disco-dancing, Oscar Wilde reading, Streissand ticket holding friend of Dorothy, know what I’m saying?” – Murray, 1995’s ‘Clueless’

Cunt: (adjective) 1. used to describe a person or action which exudes edge, attitude and ferocity. 2. (Australian) a term used cordially between males to describe one’s slyness.
